Scissors Sharpening System Challenge
"I was amazed at the difference in the scissors based solely on the way they were sharpened. I had to apologize to my customer when I pulled her hair trying to cut with scissors "C."
I am pleased to recommend the Diamond Rose Superior Sharpening System." Cindy E.
Editor's Note: Scissor "C" was sharpened on a grinder that destroyed the convex edge, replacing it with a bevel edge which is why the scissors pulled the hair when Cindy tried to slide cut with it.

Damascus by Musashi
I love the Damascus by Musashi Shear. It is the best shear I have ever worked with. It is so smooth and easy to work with. It makes the hair cut go so fast, almost like you are not even cutting. Even the sound is different. They really are great shears.

MR 9 T
I really enjoy the versatility of the MR9 shears. It allows several blending options which gives me a better quality cut with less effort. I like to use it on some of my male customers that have inconsistent hair lengths and texture. The MR9T shears allows me to blend it all together. Thanks, Diamond Rose Shears for this great shear!

MR 23
I bought my first pair of Musashi Shears, a MR21 6.0 thumb swivel three months ago. It has been a great shear to work with. What I did not realize at first was how much the unique 4-way swivel was actually helping me until this past week. My shears needed sharpened and my Diamond Rose Distributor was out of town for a few days. So I got out my old shears (another brand with the normal thumb swivel) and cut with them for about a week. I was amazed at how much my hand hurt and the additional fatigue I experienced with my old pair. I am so glad to have my Musashi shears sharpened and cutting again.
Oh, by the way, I bought another pair of Musashi Shears today, the new MR23 Thumb Swivel in a 5.5 inch blade.

Scissors Sharpening System Challenge
"I took the "Scissors Sharpening System Challenge" and found scissors "A" was much smoother when blunt cutting. Scissors "B" felt rough and pushed the hair. Scissors "C" pulled the hair when I tried to slide cut with it. Scissors "A" was easy to slide cut. Jason K.
Editor's Note: Scissors "B" was sharpened on the typical flat hone "water honing" system. The radius was straightened causing it to push the hair. Scissors "C" was sharpened on a grinder. The convex edge was replaced with a bevel edge. Scissors "A" was sharpened on the Diamond Rose Superior Sharpening System.

MR 5 7.0
I’ve been a hair dresser for 30 years. I purchased the MR5 7.0 and I love them. They are very comfortable, very light, I love that they don’t have those screws on top so you can cut this way and you can cut that way, without it being in the way. It’s comfortable, it’s long enough, it’s sharp enough and I just love them. I can’t say enough good about them.

MR 3 5.5
I have had these swivels for about 3 years now, I believe. I love them because they are easy to flip in and out of my hand and they keep my hand at the right angle so that I don’t have any of the wrist problems that are associated with our business. I just love them, I can’t say enough about them. I thought I would not like them at first, again it is something that you have to get used to, but after having them for three years they are my number one choice and I probably have six different pairs of shears. I been doing this for 27 years and I just love them.

MR 20 5.5
I love my MR20 shears - the three holes with the pinky rest, I have more control on the shears. At first, they were hard to get use to, but now I can’t. I have a whole thing full of shears and I go back to these, I grab these because I have control. These go dull instead of the other brands in my case because I use them all day. They palm really nice.

MR 21 6.0
What I love about my Diamond Rose Shears is that they are amazing. I got to pick out, there were so many different kinds, I could choose the best kind to fit my hand. I’m pretty tall so I have pretty big hands so I was able to fit one to my hand, so you know it feels at home in my hand. I have the double thumb swivel and it’s nice because I actually have wrist problems. When I’m cutting all day because cutting is a big part of my income. When I am cutting all day, I get home and my hands feel exhausted, especially my wrist. When I switched over to these shears, I go home and my hands aren't exhausted anymore which is the most amazing thing.
Mine swivel both ways so it gets my wrist in a position and my thumb in a position where I’m not putting any stress or any strain on them when I am cutting. So it allows me to do better cuts and faster cuts so I can make more money, which is really important. I have five other shears and this has been my best investment by far. The quality of the sharpening has given me the best cuts ever. My clients are coming in 6 weeks and they almost don’t need to get a cut because they are so healthy and even. They’re not coming out uneven, they’re not coming out shaggy or rough. They are amazing.
